An Herb Bucker is used to strip leaves from stems for herbs such as thyme, rosemary, etc. The various hole sizes allow a variety of stem and leaf sizes to be stripped. One side of the herb bucker has chamfered holes and the other side has no chamfers, allowing the stems to be pulled through in either direction. The different edge profiles allow a more aggressive angle to be used depending on the stiffness of the leaves and stems of the herbs. Likewise, stems can be stripped with leaves facing toward or away from the bucker to achieve best results for each herb type.
Holes range in size from 1/16" to 1/2" in 1/16" increments. The single 1/4" hole to the left is for an included leather loop used for hanging on a hook. Outer edges are chamfered on both sides for comfort.
Size is 5 1/2" x 2 1/2" x 3/8", which will fit in the palm of most hands.
